glimpses of a woman who tries to understand me

Her name is कामना (Kamna), which means desire. By ‘her’ - I mean my mother. She had several desires of her own, which she could never accomplish, as she often tells me. Her body is an accumulation of memories that lingers with her in quotidian reality. And she moves forward tirelessly, every day, without any sense of despair, while carrying the burden of all the memories. In an attempt to give words to her struggles, I made these deeply personal impressionist images that capture the tangible and search for the abstract truth.
